Terra Fine currently lives and works in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Though born and raised in rural northern Minnesota, Fine has spent the past thirteen years traveling with her husband around the world. With wanderlust subsiding now, the moody shores of Lake Superior offer a nice welcome home.

During those travels, Fine earned a B.A. in Fine Art, with an emphasis in sculpture and a minor in psychology, from Western Washington University in beautiful Bellingham, WA. To compliment her formal art education, Fine also apprenticed with artist Scott Jensen. Jensen, a traditional wood-carver for over 30 years, specializes in the native Northwest Coastal Tlingit design and tool use.

Since then, Fine's work has been exhibited in the U.S. from Seattle to New York as well as internationally, been selected for publication, and has received honors and awards.
